Status: This Species has been (and still is) illegally hunted throughout its range for sport and for its fur. Despite the odds, the Leopard is still thriving both in the wild and in captivity.
Distribution: The Leopard is found throughout Africa, from the Arabian Peninsula through Asia to Manchuria and Korea.
Size: Leopards are the smallest of the 4 “big cats” and most commonly resembles its cousin, the Jaguar. Leopards vary in length from 3-6 feet with a tail length of 22-43 inches. They stand 17-30 inches high at the shoulder. Males weigh between 80-150 lbs. and females weight between 62-100lbs.
Food: When full grown, Jabaree will eat up to 12 lbs. Of meat a day. His diet will consist of Beef, Pork, Chicken and Deer. His food is supplemented daily with vitamins and calcium to insure him a long and healthy life.

Lifespan: 10-11 years in the wild, 23 years in captivity. Jabaree was born in 2006.
